Founding Team
Nick is avid outdoorsman and environmentalist. He comes from an agricultural family, personally having managed an organic garlic farm for over a decade.
After Cornell, Nick worked for Alliance Bernstein. He gained deep industry knowledge working on the corporate debt investments team where he managed significant capital and risk for billion-dollar portfolios.
Nick is excited to combine his passions for entrepreneurship and the environment and to introduce the world to the power of the next super-ingredient: Alaskan Giant Kelp!
John grew up near the ocean in Southern California where Giant Kelp beds are the bedrock of the local ecosystem.
After Cornell, he gained valuable operating experience working at Restaurant Brands International in multiple areas of business, including finance, business development, investor relations, procurement, and marketing.
John is passionate about using the power of kelp to help the environment while providing customers with an in-demand sustainable ingredient.
