What We Do
Cultivation
We are currently in the process of building our first kelp farm in Southeastern Alaska, just south of Ketchikan.
Catenary array grow systems will support our Alaskan Giant Kelp as it grows year round in the pristine and nutrient rich Alaskan waters.
As our kelp grows, it provides essential habitat for marine life, helps to sequester carbon dioxide and excess nutrients, and even helps to fight the effects of ocean acidification!
Processing
We process all of our kelp in our facility in Ketchikan, Alaska. We stabilize and process our harvested kelp and transform it into sustainable and powerful products, like our cosmetic and agricultural products.
Additionally, we are able to produce bulk kelp ingredients for wholesale customers, including dried and milled, flaked, and powdered kelp.
